Meet Our Team
Crystal D.
Practice ManagerCrystal was born & raised here in Asheville. She graduated from A-B Tech with her Dental Assisting Diploma & later received her National Board Certification. After working in dentistry for more than 12 years, Crystal’s dental background includes everything from dental assisting, front office reception, scheduling, insurance, claims & billing. She enjoys overseeing the daily operation of our dental office to ensure our team is fully supported & given all the necessary tools to provide the best patient care possible.
Crystal lives in Black Mountain with her husband, two children & their pug, Hamilton. When Crystal isn’t working, you can normally find her at the baseball field or soccer field cheering on her boys, traveling to new places & spending time with her closest friends & family.
Sarah C.
Patient CoordinatorSarah Cody has worked in the medical field for over 17 years. Born & raised in Western North Carolina, she currently lives in Haywood County where she loves working as part of a team & continuing to engage her interest in dentistry.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys being with her husband, Doug, & their two children, Abigail & Meredith. She also loves spending time at the lake & with her horses & miniature donkeys.
Carolyn S.
Registered Dental HygienistCarolyn received her associate’s degree in dental hygiene from A-B Tech in 2011. Being a dental hygienist is one of the most rewarding aspects of her life. She enjoys meeting new people & getting to know them over time. She has a passion for providing care, assistance & education & has a goal of promoting & maintaining a healthy smile.
On her days off, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, her four dogs (one Great Pyrenees & three longhair dachshunds) & two goats. She hopes to add more animals in the future! She also enjoys gardening, antique shopping & repurposing furniture.

Brittany S.
Dental AssistantBrittany was born in Asheville & currently resides in Black Mountain. Brittany always knew she wanted to work in the medical field. In 2013 Brittany received her CNA. Her interest in dentistry began when she was promoted to an oral care aide assistant. Brittany enjoyed working alongside her team & providing the best dental care for her residents. During this time, she wanted to pursue her interest further. Brittany went on to receive her dental assisting & NC radiation certificates. She enjoys being a part of every aspect of our dental care team—administrative & clinical!
Brittany has three little ones & enjoys spending her free time playing basketball with them & her husband at the park.
Ashlea T.
Dental AssistantAshlea grew up at on the coast of eastern North Carolina and currently resides in Black Mountain, NC with her husband and daughter. Ashlea graduated from a local dental assisting course, where she graduated at the top of her class. She has always had a true passion for helping others and has realized her aspriation of working in the dental field fulfilling that passion. In her free time you can find Ashlea spending time with her kids, exploring local boutiques, catching rays at the beach and coaching her daughter's softball team! She looks forward to personally connecting with her patients at North Asheville Family Dentistry and can't wait to meet you soon!
